Lukas Nursery

Lukas Nursery & Butterfly Encounter is a legendary Central Florida institution with Lukas family agricultural roots in Oviedo stretching back over a century. Located in Oviedo in Seminole County, the nursery carries one of the most diverse plant selections in the region — including native trees, shrubs, groundcovers, wildflowers, vines, palms, butterfly host plants, milkweed, and pollinator plants, alongside thousands of exotic and tropical varieties.

Beyond the nursery, Lukas is home to one of the largest native butterfly conservatories in the state of Florida — a 4,000 square foot indoor butterfly and bird encounter where visitors can hand-feed butterflies and watch finches in a lush garden setting. A FANN member and beloved Oviedo destination for gardeners and families alike.

Plant inventories change frequently — recommended to call ahead to confirm current availability before your visit.
